Over time, I'll try to add some information about things that Ive found interesting enough to share with you. That's all this site really is -- an eclectic mix of things that I hope you'll find interesting.
I ran across a very new and really neat new application call Snakr a couple of days ago. It displays a ticker of items from any list off RSS feeds that you point it to.
I hosted the Midwest VM Regional User Group (MVMRUG) pages here
briefly when Computer Associates decommissioned our web server after
they acquired VM Software who had been hosting the site for us.
MVMRUG has now moved to its permanent home
at http://www.mvmrug.org/
thanks to Velocity Software.
Ohio Renaissance Faire
Southwestern Ohio host the largest renaissance faire in the state all summer every summer. We have visited several times and always have a good time and good food. Joust with the knight below to visit the faire.
I had the opportunity to visit Bangalore, India in November of 2002. Bangalore is in southern India, but due to its elevation it is not as warm as other parts of India. Weather is similar to what we expect in the U.S. state of Florida. Temperatures were in the low 80s Farenheit while I was there. Since I was working while I was there, I did not have time to take nice pictures, but did fire off a number of snapshots -- mostly from the moving car.
If you're a PC techie and enjoy exploring new things for your PC, check out this e-mail based PC newsletter. Fred Langa's LangaList (previous recommendarion) merged into Brian Livingston's Windows Secrets in late 2006. Fred retired in 2008, but Windows Secrets carries on as a great source of information about MS Windows. Visit Windows Secrets web site and see for yourself. Then sign up for the weekly newsletter.
