Shows are a major part of the festival. Of course, we think that the shows are the best part of amusement parks too. ;-) The Ohio Renaissance Festival has 11 performance areas and two dozen or more groups performing. There were always at least a half dozen shows going on. You'd have to stay for days to see them all. Unfortunately, we had only one day less travel time. :-(

| Just as we were leaving, this young lady did what amounts to 10 minutes of middle-eastern belly dancing with this sword balanced on her head. |

Dangerous Dan kept up a comedic chatter the whole time that he was balancing these pipe on top of each other and them attempting to battle the wind to balance himself atop them all. |
And, of course, you couldn't have 16th century entertainment without some knights in armor.
